Vijay who is happy and excited with the response for his latest release "Nanban" is working round the clock for his next movie "Thuppaki" which is directed by AR Murugadoss, with so much expectation from the movie already, we hear American Singer Akon is to do playback singing for the movie.

Harris Jayaraj, the music composer for the film who worked with Vijay in his last release "Nanban" in which the songs are already a chartbuster, is trying to re-create the magic again, now with the international star in his team.


Akon, who already worked in Bollywood for "Ra 1", is now going to work in Kollywood for the first time along with Harris Jayaraj. The shooting for the movie which is going on at full speed, is expected to be completed and screened by June 2012.

Thuppaki, apart from Vijay, it has Kajal Agarwal, Sathyan and others working with him in this movie.
