Waiting on Wednesday recognizes that we as bookies pine for books. This post is about what I am impatiently waiting for right now. It was started by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

This week's selection is Feed (Newsflesh, #1) by Mira Grant and is set to be released May 1st 2010 by Orbit.

The year was 2014. We had cured cancer. We had beat the common cold. But in doing so we created something new, something terrible that no one could stop. The infection spread, virus blocks taking over bodies and minds with one, unstoppable command: FEED.

NOW, twenty years after the Rising, Georgia and Shaun Mason are on the trail of the biggest story of their lives-the dark conspiracy behind the infected. The truth will out, even if it kills them.

From Goodreads

I'm a pretty big fan of books and movies dealing with "utopia creation" and "diseases gone wrong" like 28 Days Later (movie) or I Am Legend (book, the movie wasn't the same). Nautrally, this one seems right up my alley. Nothing like a good "fight to survive" to get your blood pumping. I find that these scenarios work better for me in book format because the mind has limitless capacity for visualizing action, whereas in a movie, you are stuck with the writer/director/actor's vision. Hopefully Feed will give me the good thrill I'm looking for in and expose teens to the wide and varied world of horror.

So what are you waiting on?

Waiting on Wednesday: Feed (Newsflesh, #1)

Queen of Secrets by Jenny Meyerhoff was supplied by Around the World Tours and is set to be released June 22, 2010.

Esther "Essie" Green is ecstatic to be a sophomore on the cheerleading squad! She's been dreaming of getting to do this for quite some time and believes that it will help her place in the high school hierarchy immensely. She's starting to learn her place when she gets a shock: her cousin, Micah is on the football team. As if that's not bad enough, Micah is quite staunch in his religious beliefs and wears his kippah even while playing football. Essie is mortified, until she realizes that no one knows they are related. She decides to keep that a secret, so it won't hurt her chances of moving up in station.

As the school year progresses, the football team members continue to pick on Micah for being "weird" and even manage to toilet-paper his house. Essie doesn't know what to do with herself. On the one hand, she has gained popularity and even attracted the attention of her longtime crush Austin, but at what cost? Is getting to be popular and feeling overly-cherished more important than standing up for what's right?

I really wanted to like this book. I really did. I went in thinking that this was an interesting premise (especially with the religious element) and that I could really get behind it, but I found this book lacked a lot. The characters were very... predictable. Almost cliché actually. There didn't seem to be any real emotion behind the characters' actions other than jealousy and guilt.

While I did enjoy watching Essie grow as a person, I felt it took way too long. The story was just dragging along waiting for her to finally make up her scattered mind about what she wanted to do. Micah was the only character that I felt I could really relate to and that I cared about at all. Essie was just too flippant and self-absorbed, up until the end. The cookie-cutter friends were pretty much absent and I felt like they were just filler as no significant action really happened with them.

If you want a simple, light, predictable read, then this is great for that. There were some funny moments and there were some intriguing thoughts, but there was no real depth. Questions are answered almost immediately, so there is very little suspense. Give it a shot though, you may like it better than I did.

My Invisible Boyfriend by Susie Day was supplied by Around the World Tours and is set to be released April 1, 2010.

Heidi is accustomed to being odd-girl-out. With parents who like to flit across the country in search of the next struggling school in dire need of their assistance, she is used to being the new girl who never quite fits in. Fortunately, at the latest stop she has managed to find a gang of kids quite like her. That is until after summer vacation.

Heidi comes back expecting that everything will pick up where it left off, but the party changes everything. At the annual "let's get rid of our stashes so they aren't confiscated" party, Heidi turns down a guy. Automatically her friends assume that she is seeing someone; and just so she doesn't feel left out, she doesn't correct them.

So she makes up an amazing sounding guy, complete with an online profile. Everyone tells her how amazing he since, this motorcycle-riding, Shakespearean sonnet-writing Romeo. He's so amazing, that her friends start contacting him for advice about everything; including what to do about Heidi. As if your friends not liking you as much as you thought they did isn't bad enough, someone has discovered the truth and is threatening to uncover her secret. Heidi is now thrown headfirst into the truth. She must decide whether her friends deserve to hear the truth from her or if she just doesn't care anymore. Her lies are about to catch up to her and there's nothing she can do about it. Or is there?

Sadly, this book was not as great as I thought it was going to be. Heidi was just too wishy-washy for my tastes. She is triumphing over her friends one minute and then moping about her sad existence the next. Her character did not really elicit any feelings from me other than annoyance and frustration. I felt she had so many opportunities to clear herself, but never took them because they weren't easy. Not exactly the kind of message I want to send out.

The plot kind of sluggishly moved forward for me. There was no real hook anywhere. I tried very hard to find some redeeming quality anywhere and I continually came up empty-handed. The shallowness exhibited by these kids was just beyond my level of tolerance and I really wish they had been slightly less predictable. This was just not a good book for me. I hope one of you has better luck!

Bringing in the Loot

The acting business is very competitive. Many assume that once an actor has reached some sort of acclaim or stardom, his scrambling for work is over. Not so. All kinds of tangled bits of politics go into casting films. Sometimes, an actor may pass on a role, leaving it open to someone who previously would never have had the chance. (The former actor normally winds up kicking himself)! Sometimes, an impassioned actress rallies for a part only to be told by the studios that she isn't big enough box-office, right for it, etc, and it is handed to someone else. But, there are merits to the decisions some of the big-wigs make, and though it is a rough biz, the people on top often do make the right decisions, casting the perfect person for the perfect role. Happy accidents and calculated risks... It's all movie history. But, just for fun, let's play a game of imagination called: What if?

Jean the Scene-Stealer:

It seems that some people are chosen for fame, even if they don't want it. Jean Harlow is one of those human phenomenons who was born to be a movie star-- beautiful, talented, charismatic-- despite her own wishes.  She didn't have her eyes on acting when it came after her. Unlike the other young ladies dying to be discovered, this lovely little sexpot from Kansas City became a sensation without even lifting a finger. Her fame was predicted by leading lady of the silents, Clara Bow, herself. When Clara saw the svelte and sexy extra on the set of her film The Saturday Night Kid, she panicked! The bombshell was a definite threat. At first, Clara wanted Jean taken off the film, but she was too kindhearted to ever really punish someone for her own insecurities. She took Jean under her wing and even arranged for her to wear one of the gowns originally designed for herself (together below with Jean Arthur on left).

Jean was eternally grateful. The domino effect continued. Roles that were written for or slated for other actresses landed right in her lap, much to her surprise and much to the other ladies' chagrin. Here are two such scenarios:

When Howard Hughes was filming his epic Hell's Angel's, he ran into a problem. Already over budget and over schedule, sound films took the lead at theaters before his silent film had been completed. As a result, Howard decided to go back and re-shoot all of the previous sequences in sound. The only problem was his leading lady- Greta Nissen-- who spoke in a thick Norwegian accent. Audiences wouldn't accept her, therefore, as a British aristocrat. So, he set about re-casting her. (Poor Greta). For awhile, the top choice was none other than Starlet of the Month, Thelma Todd (above, right), who was being primed for a dramatic career by her lover/friend Roland West. Unfortunately for Thelma, Hal Roach would not let her out of her contract to make the film, afraid that a dramatic role would ruin her comedy image. As a result, the role went to newcomer, Jean Harlow. Many would comment that the new girl couldn't act a lick, but when the camera was on, her... boy oh boy!

Jean made another "screen-grab" when The Public Enemy was being cast. William Wellman offered the role to Louise Brooks (left), whom he'd worked with on Beggars for Life. Louise was trying to make an American comeback after her forays into the world of German cinema, which at the time labeled her as a washed-up failure. It would take years for her to reclaim her status as an incomparable film star. She may not have had to wait as long if she had snatched up Wellman's offer, but perhaps because she didn't much care for Wellman, who had put her through dangerous, physical trauma while shooting Beggars, she turned the role down. Whoops. Again, it went to Jean, whose sex appeal in the role of Gwen Allen in The Public Enemy solidified her even further into the very appreciative "public" eye.

The Graduate:

Would the classic, The Graduate, have "flunked" at the box-office if it had been made as originally cast??? At first, Robert Redford (right) was slated to play the now iconic role of Benjamin Braddock, because he more closely resembled the golden, American boy from the novel. Young unknown thespian, Dustin Hoffman, was more than a long shot. Short, dark, and awkward, he hardly seemed to fit the mold. In fact, when he finished his audition, which he botched,  he dropped his train fare on the ground, to which a cameraman muttered something to the effect of, "You should pick that up, because you're going to need it." However, despite appearances, director Mike Nichols saw something in the young up-and-comer and cast him in the role that would change his life.

Anne Bancroft, as it turns out, was not a shoe-in for Mrs. Robinson either, the role she will forever be identified with. Down-to-earth beauty, Ava Gardner, (left)was originally approached, but she didn't have enough faith in her talents. Though she did not turn down the role, she seemed to try to talk Nichols out of casting her, casually telling him, "You know, I can't act," a statement that she unfortunately believed. Ava's interpretation certainly would have been interesting to see, but Bancroft won the coveted part and made it her own, injecting it with ferocity and humanity all at once.

Breakfast at Tiffany's:

Would the most important meal of the day have been as easy to swallow if it hadn't been Audrey Hepburn (left) staring into that jeweler's window? Originally, Truman Capote was adamantly against Audrey being the star for the film adaptation of his novel. She was far too graceful and poised to play the character of a frivolous, fun-loving call girl. He imagined none other than Marilyn Monroe (below) as the perfect fit for his delicate and deluded socialite. After all, Marilyn had played a previous character infatuated with diamonds: Lorelei of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. It is interesting to note that both women would have brought the same bright-eyed innocence to this role, along with an endearing and fragile vulnerability. However, these qualities would have been conveyed in very different packages and thus would have resulted in very different films.Though Marilyn had already proved that she was capable of deep and profound film work, as seen in her very human portrayal in 1956's Bus Stop, the hand of fate placed Audrey in the lead. Audrey ran away with the picture, and produced one of the most iconic movie heroines of all time.

The Philadelphia Story:

When Katharine Hepburn was labeled "box-office poison," she didn't hang around Hollywood to pout about it. This fighter went back to treading the boards of the stage, winning respect for her role as Tracy Lord in The Philadelphia Story, which was specifically crafted for her. She proved that she could indeed act, and with her refined and hilarious portrayal she showed everyone that she was one of the finest actresses of her generation, who could not only run the gamut of emotions from A-Z (ahem, Dorothy Parker!), but back again! A cunning business-woman, Kate obtained the rights to the play and sold them to MGM, casting herself in the lead, of course.

She had her own ideas about the casting of her male counterparts as well, and she requested that Clark Gable step in as C.K. Dexter Haven and that her soon-to-be lover, Spencer Tracy, be given the role of wisecracking writer Macaulay Connor (above, the pals duke it out in San Francisco). It was not to be . Cary Grant was given the role of Dex, after demanding and receiving top billing of course, which Kate graciously acceded, and Jimmy Stewart won Oscar gold for his role as Connor. Kate, for her part, was nominated for her "comeback" role, but she lost to Ginger Rogers for her performance in Kitty Foyle. Queen once more, Kate didn't mind, stating that her work was her true reward. No one would ever doubt her ability again, and until Meryl Streep outdid her, she held the long-running record of the actress to receive the most Academy Award nominations. She still holds the record for most wins: four!

The fated trio on the set

CAST-AWAYS: Part One

Welcome to Part 2 of my mini-reviews of Rachel Vincent's Shifters series. If you missed Part 1, check it out here. If you're ready though, go ahead and read below to find out more about the wonderful werecat world.

WARNING: I put these three in a separate post because they contain spoilers for the first three books. You've been warned!

Prey
After coming out on top during her trial, Faythe has returned to the Lazy S ranch once again, only this time it's without her exiled lover Marc. While it's hard on Faythe, she has her hands full with the protection of Kaci, Manx, and baby Des. Faythe is really trying to coax Kaci into understanding that her cat form is nothing to be ashamed or frightened of.

But when they come under attack by a huge pack of strays and then a Pride member is outright murdered on their own property, the Pride goes into a tizzy. Someone is pulling the strings on this operation and they're going to pay dearly, not only for their actions, but also for what their actions cause Faythe to do in her love life.

Shift
With a Pride member dead, the Pride gathers its allies at the ranch to prepare for the coming civil war. There is no other answer for what has occurred in their society. While her father is impeached from the territorial council, the South Central Pride is virtually cut off from everyone else. Which is why the Thunderbirds had no real trouble cornering them and beginning to pick them off one by one. Now the Pride is scrambling to bring them proof that they are not responsible for the death of the Thunderbirds' Flight member. Everyone is depending on Marc, Faythe, and Jace to keep their tempers in check and work together without tearing everything apart.

Alpha (set for release on October 1, 2010)
This is the blurb from the back cover. P.S. I am in LOVE with this cover. It's my favorite of them all!

YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE FAYTHE...

The unscrupulous new Council chair has charged Jace, Marc, and me with trespassing, kidnapping, murder, and treason. Yeah, we've been busy. But now it's time to take justice into our own hands. We must avenge my brother's death and carve out the rot at the heart of the Council.

It's not going to be easy, and loss seems unavoidable, but I have promised to protect my Pride, no matter what. With a target on my back and Marc at my side, I'm heading for a final showdown that can--that will--change everything forever. A showdown I'm not sure I'm ready for. But life never waits until you're ready. From Goodreads

So there you have it folks. Are you intrigued? If you haven't read one yet, go to your library and grab Stray. They're amazing and fantastic! I'm kind of sad to see the story end with Alpha, but Faythe's story can only go so far. Congratulations to Rachel Vincent for an incredible job well done. I can't wait to see where Faythe winds up!

Shifters Series by Rachel Vincent Mini-Reviews Part 2

Waiting on Wednesday recognizes that we as bookies pine for books. This post is about what I am impatiently waiting for right now. It was started by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

This week's selection is Whisper by Phoebe Kitanidis and is set to be released April 27th 2010 by Balzer + Bray.

Joy is used to hearing Whispers. She’s used to walking down the street and instantly knowing people’s deepest, darkest desires. She uses this talent for good, to make people happy and give them what they want. But for her older sister, Jessica, the family gift is a curse, and she uses it to make people’s lives—especially Joy’s—miserable.

Still, when Joy hears a frightening whisper from Jessica's own mind, she knows she has to save her sister, even if it means deserting her friends, stealing a car and running away with a boy she barely knows—a boy who may have a dark secret of his own.

From Goodreads

So, yeah. This sounds very mysterious. I get the whispers and that both the sisters have the gift, but I really want to know what would cause Joy to "desert[ing] her friends, steal[ing] a car and run[ning] away with a boy she barely knows." That just sounds far out there. I can't imagine something (other than murdering someone or committing a MAJOR crime) that would cause me to do all that. That being said, this synopsis has peaked my interest in "hearing voices." Hope it's going to be a good one.

So what are you waiting on?

Waiting on Wednesday: Whisper

I did a similar post on the Mercy Thompson series that I love so much by Patricia Briggs a few months ago. Well seeing as how I have managed to fall in love with yet another shifter series, I figured I would do a post about it as well.

Rachel Vincent's werecat Shifters series, staring the completely fallible and wonderful colorful Faythe Sanders, is a fun, quickly-paced series covering six novels. We meet Faythe when she is summoned home from grad school for her own protection. Needless to say, she doesn't go back to school what with all the kidnappings, attempted murders, oh and over-protective ex-fiances hanging around. The books follow Faythe as she tries to navigate her very modern self-existence within the rather 1950's view of a tabby in her pride.

She's smart, she's sassy, she's stubborn, and most of all she just wants to live her life without it being dictated to her. I feel that all women can relate to her, and even some men can, on some level or another. Below you'll find a synopsis/mini-review for the first three books. The other three will be provided in a later post.

See my full review of Stray.

Stray
All Faythe wanted was to be left alone. She was working on her graduate degree, but the werecat community just couldn't leave her alone. After fighting off a stray (a once human, made into a werecat through an illegal attack; no pride) Faythe is summoned home for safety. Someone is snatching tabbies and they're not giving them back. Despite all precautions to the contrary, Faythe becomes one of the snatched. In a race against the clock, Faythe must work quickly to figure out who is behind this, what their plans are for the tabbies, and then set them straight.

Rogue
We pick up where we left off in Stray with Faythe being cooped up in the house of werecats trying not to go crazy. Now as enforcer though, she's getting to see some action and prove her worth. She doesn't want to be seen as weak, so she does whatever is necessary to prove that fact. Even if it means working with her on-again boyfriend/ex-fiance Marc as a partner. While out on a mission, the two come across a dead stray. They do their job of covering it up, so the humans don't find out, but as more toms (male werecats) start to die, the trail becomes hotter than ever. Someone's killing toms in the same places that human girls go missing and it's up to Marc and Faythe to stop them. But who do you look for when anyone's a suspect?

Pride
Faythe Sanders is mischievous at her best, but certainly not intentionally combative. Well, only when the situation calls for it, and the situations she is on trial for were just that. Unfortunately, in the eyes of the council, Faythe has broken some of their major rules and must now pay the price. Only in this world, you are presumed guilty unless you can prove otherwise. Faythe is struggling to keep her temper in check while trying not to freak out about that fact that if found guilty the best outcome is the loss of her claws and the worst being execution. Given that she's one of the few tabbies in the US, that speaks volumes about her alleged crimes. It just so happens though that Lady Luck has not abandoned Faythe yet. The large number of hostile strays in the area is suspicious and the council wants answers. If Faythe can prove her worth, she can keep her life.

Tune in on Thursday for the next three books!

Shifters Series by Rachel Vincent Mini-Reviews Part 1

Darina is seeing ghosts. Literally. Her recently deceased boyfriend Phoenix is following her around. The doctors say it's normal to see someone you love, who has recently died, in places that you associate with them. So why does she see him where he has no business being?

Darina stumbled upon the old farmhouse while out for a drive to clear her head. Not only does she find Phoenix there, but she also finds the three other kids form their high school who have died this year and a few others. They are the "Beautiful Dead." These people have unresolved issues and have been chosen to come back, with phenomenal powers, for one year to clear any misgivings they have with the human world.

Unfortunately, the "Beautiful Dead" cannot do their work on their own. They have chosen to have Darina as their contact with the human world. She will be their eyes and ears and search out the wrong-doings keeping them on Earth. First up is Jonas. He died in a motorcycle accident that they town has labeled as his fault. Jonas knows better and so does the other person who was on the bike at the time. Can Darina unlock the clues in the little amount of time she's allotted? What does it mean if she succeeds? And what will it cost should she fail?

This fast-paced novel was a roller coaster ride from beginning to end. Honestly, a girl who can see and talk to those beyond the land of the living sounds very mundane, but the powers that they have and the fact that she is still influenced by them is unique. The "Beautiful Dead" don't want to intentionally harm anyone, they simply want to conceal their existence so that they can get on with their work and move on with their deaths.

Darina is quite fascinating to me because of her unique position. Her deceased boyfriend is "living" still, at least for another year, but yet she has to function in the land of the living with someone tugging her heart strings. She may appear weak at times, but I can't imagine the strain that she is under dealing with her reality. Most of the other characters remind the reader of the small town mentality that is prevalent when dealing with supernatural elements. Yet some can still surprise you.

I am looking forward to the continuation of this series and the next mystery that Darina must solve.

Bringing in the Loot

Welcome back to Nostalgic Friday! Since I love all things historical (culturally, physically, and personally) I do a post on Fridays honoring some awesome book that is a bit older. Many of them are books I enjoyed in my teens and others are books that I discovered as an adult that I think are relevant to YA readers.

This week's selection is a book I read my sophomore year of high school. Nectar in a Sieve by Kamala Markandaya was originally published in 1954.

The story follows the thoughts of Rukmani, an elderly Indian woman, as she looks back on her life from childhood through adulthood.

Rukmani was the four daughter of a former wealthy family. Unfortunately, after so many dowries and the decline of her family's status, there is very little to offer to any prospective suitors. Thus Rukmani is married off to a poor tenant farmer named Nathan. In a stroke of luck, he is a kind, lovely man who is content to have someone to work alongside him and bear his children. When Rukmani has trouble delivering the sons that are needed in order to bring honor to her family, she secretly begins fertility treatments with a local doctor.

The treatments are an enormous success. A little too much so as the little family of three that was scraping by with a little leftover, is now a huge family of eight. The family continues to creep along, but times are changing. No longer is working the land enough to get by, especially when the tannery opens up. It is helpful in the beginning because Rukmani's sons have ample work and make decent money at the tannery, but as word spreads about the tannery, more and more people show up offering to work for less and less money.

Rukmani watches as everything she has known is torn to bits. Her children are scattered among the globe doing various things, and some have died at the hands of industrialization & Westernization. The change is too great, but it is something she must bear with Nathan.

Set in the early 20th century, rural India, Nectar in a Sieve is an incredible tale of love, loss, class, survival, and industrialization. This book covers the social, political, and personal aspects of being in the working class population during an industrial revolution. When Rukmani, who struggled with infertility, sees that her sons will not decide to work the land that she and her husband have fought tooth and nail to keep, she is heartbroken. A mother only wants what's in her children's best interest, but at what cost? Her educated children are a danger to themselves with their ideas and strikes. Her hard-working children have to watch as their work becomes more and more dangerous, but continues to go to others.

This captivating tale is one that I can't seem to get enough of. Rukmani's voice is powerful, yet gentle, just as I would expect a mother's to be. She is a tough woman who only wants to live her life in relative comfort. She has no higher aspirations for herself, but she wants the world for her children. Watching the changeover from tenant farmer to industrialized work is heartbreaking because you can almost hear the whispers as the old ways fall away. A great read when you are studying Westernization and its affect on developing nations. Give it a go some time.

Love tattoos have always been a great way to express your feelings for someone else. Love tattoos are always very popular and a great many couples choose to show their love for one another in the form of a tattoo. Obviously, the love tattoos are not restricted to the love between couples but they cover a wide range of relationships ranging from a mom-daughter or a son-dad relationship.
Love Tattoos
Love Tattoos
Tattoos are no longer found only on the tough guys in the crowd. Tattoos are now so popular that it can often be a struggle finding new angles when it comes to both the background and placement. Tattoos are an art form for some people but an abomination to others on the other end of the spectrum.

Tattoos are very common these days, with just about 1 in 4 individuals having at least one and often more. Tattoos are usually considered to be part of the living organism of skin and must be maintained over the years to keep their colors alive and fresh. Tattoos that have been correctly applied, correctly healed, and protected from the rays of the sun can remain their best for years and years.

Love Tattoos
Love is the strongest of emotions that man has often expressed within the designs of love tattoos. There are many different ways to express your love to your significant other. Today, many couples still believe the symbols in love tattoos to be a very dramatic expression of love. It may sound odd to some but those in love are ready to bear any sort of pain for their loved ones.

Everything is fair in love after all. Many celebrities have been paving the way for new forms of love tattoos by idealizing this particular aspect of expression. There are a wide assortment of heart tattoos available for showing your love for someone else and a good tattoo parlor will usually be happy to design something unique for you.

The heart these days is still the most recognized symbol of love. Other symbols often found in love tattoos include the sacred heart, a pierced heart, a locked heart or a Celtic heart amongst many others. Many people interested in love tattoos will sometimes include their names or other symbols to add a personal touch to the tattoo.

Whatever you decide upon, the design of love tattoos should be instantly recognizable. True love blooms all the time no matter what and should be ageless like the designs of love tattoos. Whether you wish to send out a loud message or just a subtle tribute to your love, there are all kinds of love tattoos that might appeal to you.

Quite often, a couple will decide to get matching tattoos to show their love for one another. Love tattoos often incorporate such things as song lyrics or children's names. David and Victoria Beckham have matching tattoos that read 'I am my beloved's, my beloved is mine' written in Hebrew characters. The only problem with love tattoos is that the couple may not last but the tattoo is permanent.

Getting a name tattooed is an important decision and should be thought out well. Many people have tattoo names which they later regret getting. Most common are ex girlfriends or boyfriends/wives or husbands. Here are some great tips for getting names tattooed:

Tip 1: Get it somewhere relatively discreet.

Tattoo names are usually placed on the arms or the chest, and this is generally fine. But think twice about getting neck tattoos of names or hand tattoos. These are not only very visible areas but in the event that you do want to get it covered up, as many end up wanting unfortunately, then the neck and hands can be hard spots to cover up. And furthermore while you may not regret your name tat even though the relationship has ended with the person, you still may not want to look at it every day. Placing it somewhere more discreet is a safer choice.

Tip 2: Get another tattoo design that surrounds it.

While tattoo names nowadays can be done in elegant and creative lettering making it stand out, they still can be rather dull. A great way to liven up a name is to get another tattoo design surrounding the name. Or you could get the name included within the design. Either way this makes the overall name more interesting and alive. Plus, if that name is one you later regret, a cover up job incorporating the existing design may work well. Or if the name is within the design it might be able to just be filled in. There are tattoo galleries online where you can find great lettering for the name, and great designs to accompany it with.

Get Tattoo Artwork
Many people wonder how to get tattoo artwork online. Actually, it's not that most guys and girls can't find a lot of designs. It's just that most of them can't locate the "quality" designs out there.
