Director Selvaraghavan's Irandam Ulagam which originally had Dhanush and Andrea has been stopped for some reasons. The Director decided to go with Arya and Anushka in the lead instead and the shooting began on December 24th 2011 in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
The film is being produced by PVP Cinemas and Vinay is the executive producer of the film. Camera is handled by Ramji.
Music for the movie is done by Harris Jeyaraj. This is the first time both Selva and Harris are working together and a lot is expected from this combination. Since earlier when the movie started with Dhanush and Andrea, the shooting stopped for some reasons unknown reasons and the movie was shelved, but now the director wants to continue the movie the with Arya and Anushka.
