Hope Through Photography

Hi! My name is Amber Collier. I'm a preemie mom and the founder of Preemie Prints. Our mission is to support NICU families through a unique system that offers hope. We strongly advocate for you and encourage story telling through photography as a coping mechanism. We encourage moms and families to photograph their preemies each and every day capturing the journey they are facing together as a new family. We encourage families to start a preemie file with us sending us pictures and updates along the way. At one point during the NICU stay or once a family is home we will come in and offer a complimentary professional photography session by one of our experienced network volunteers. All edited images will be provided back to the family on a disk for printing. Once the NICU journey is over we will compile the photos, from admittance to arrival at home, and create a beautiful DVD Storybook Slideshow. This Storybook Slideshow will be something that you can watch for years to come, a way to one day tell your child about what they went through or a family member about your child, and with this memory item you will never forget the courage you gained and obstacles you overcame together as a family.
