I know it sounds a bit like Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins (which I adored & you can read about here), but it's got room to spread its own wings. Depending on how Kylie handles herself, this book could be a really great addition to the paranormal/fantasy school vibe that I seem to dig (Harry Potter, Hex Hall, House of Night, etc).
